You might want to try Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb's "In Death" series - currently at 59 books in the series. It isn't a romance series, per se, but the main character Eve Dallas is a homicide detective and her billionaire husband helps her solves cases when he isn't buying the world (LOL). The books are set in 2060 and the romance between Eve and Roarke is a part of the story. Think Law and Order SVU set in the near future. "Naked in Death" is the first book.

I just recently finally read PS You're Intolerable it's been on my list for a while due to your rec and it was amazing! Can I make a request? I keep trying to find decent spicey romance novels written for guys. I end up having to listen to lesbian romance stories to get the sort of tone/feel I'm looking for. I find that most romance novels are written from the woman's perspective primarily (In Lesbian romance novels, they tend to bounce perspective back and forth each chapter), and in normal romance novels the guys tend to be a little flat. I'm not looking for some harem novel or anything like that, just a romance novel for dudes would be cool.

@pennyhanks5303 I took a look through his book collection. I'm willing to take a chance, but almost all his covers feature a dude with rock hard abs, so that tells me it might not be exactly what I'm looking for.

I would say that Jagger Cole is Erotic Mafia Romance. Heavy on BDSM and dark themes. So if you're not into that, I'd steer clear. But if you DO like that, he is great. There is also WS Greer. I haven't read him yet but I actually found him through TikTok once. Haha! I honestly have not read too much male written Romance yet. That's not LGBTQ. Nothing wrong with that but not everyone is looking for that. Leigh Greenwood is good, he writes Historical Romance. But I honestly am always searching for more male writers too. I've wanted to do a video but I don't have enough yet.

@@korlack7276 The struggle is real to find romance stories that don't feature perfect bodies in both female and male characters. Although, there does seem to be an up-swing of female leads with curvier bodes. I'm trying to think if I'd read an author that gives a more realistic representation for their male characters. The stories that may come closest are those that feature a mountain man or lumberjack type. Fit but not necessarily with the 6-pack body...is that more along the lines of what you had in mind? I'd be interested to see if Jenn or others have some recommendations.
