I picked up The Empress because it's beautiful cover (and I was interested since I read tarot). Bummed to hear it was confusing and wasn't that great. I'm hoping to read the new Zoey Draven soon. I'm 70% into Throne of the Horde King currently. 😊

I only read books 4-6 in the series. But I think I mentioned that I highly recommend you jump in wherever you want! If I didn't, I'm saying it now, lols! Haha!

I gave Keep Me 3 stars. It was very tame compared to her others books and it makes me nervous for her next gen series. It’s a shame because I usually give her books 5 stars but I do worry traditional publishing makes books tamer/more palatable for the public. I was really expecting a lot of kinks because it was promoted as really dark and there was barely anything. Plus I read an arc so I felt bad for giving it 3 stars.

Yeah, Keep Me was *such* a disappointment for me. I *adore* Sara Cate’s writing and this just wasn’t up to par.
