omg I love this aswel! and then especially the caring part. My favorite book (the one who got me into reading, because I always had trouble #adhd dyslexic!) has this: Tormentor mine, by Anna Zaires. I found this book because of you actually. your video about captor captive trope a long time ago mentioned the Twisted Series by Anna Zaires and I became obsessed! I always knew I loved dark romances like that but I never found one I actually loved!! Tormentor mine is the 3rd one in that world/series (but can be stand alone!) and it has ALL the things I love! captor captive/ big dick energie/ protective Alfa male/ strong intelligent female lead/ dubcon/noncon etc. but the "hero" is really caring especially during her period.. I mean belly rubs, bringing hot water bottle and advil and just al around swoon worthy material! he is also a bit too much into her fertility and "the beauty mother nature in woman" so there is a "forced" pregnancy aswel.... I can go on but it hits ALL the big numbers for me! whoooo he's definitely my non-boyfriend material boyfriend. (the audible version is amazing btw the male Naretor.... JEZUS!)

I just read a period scene yesterday! Book: Second Comes War by Lilith Vincent …Promised in Blood Book 2 and it does need to be read in order. Not just period but also blood play involved. So far I’m enjoying this series. It is dark. Many triggers to look into before reading.

Absolutely loved this video, Jen. Although I thought it was going to be about intimacy in period romances (e.g. regency romances)! Also please can I ask a question...you've said previously (in one of your Q&As I think) that you didn't have pets. But if you did have one, would you have a dog, cat or another animal? Hi Jen, nice books recommendation, did read Lessons in Sin, I enjoyed that book. 😊 Not sure if you read Fifty Shades of Grey, didn’t it all started with E L James? The BDSM and all that, there’s also a part in this book a sex scene while she has her period, it’s a funny one though. A lot of people didn’t like 50 Shades but not me, I enjoyed it😅 enjoyed the movie as well. Though I’m not sold on Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, have you read 50 Shades?
