D'Andra Simmons sets the record straight on Mama Dee

It's getting really old watching this mother / daughter dynamic. It's really sad, and when D'Andra says it's not about the trust... It really seems like that is all that it's about. At least that is all she keeps talking about. Her mom has her over the barrel. D'Andra says her mom owns her house, her car, and the trust, so she has to "play ball" basically. I wouldn't put it past the old biddy to give that trust to some charity.

D'andra gets such a bad rap on Housewives forums, and I don't get it. Well, I guess I do because she can sound whiny regardless of her privileges, but I don't see a bad bone in her soul. She looks legit to me, with shortcomings like any of us, but deep down a good girl.

I'm sorry, but a mother handing her daughter a business that is weeks away from bankruptcy is sick and vile. Why would you give your daughter something that would open her up to lawsuits and god knows what else? Surely as a mother you would say honey the company has a lot of problems and is not making money, are you sure you want this? Instead of hiding everything from your daughter? The whole relationship seems toxic, almost like Dee is jealous of D'Andra and wants her to fail...

I don't feel sorry for her. Last season, all we saw was her begging her mother to leave her the business. Her mother refused. She begged some more. OK. She got what she wanted. She ate off of her mother into her adult life (as her husband) and when things went south, it's her mother fault? Take some accountability. Count your loses and learn from your mistakes. The business is dead. Move on. This may require you to "down size" your life but please know that you have it HELLA good still. Her comment on last weeks episode about not being able to live on a $60K income was ridiculous. Any sympathy I had for her at the time was then lost. $60K is well over the Dallas household medium income.

K Moss I thought the same thing about D’andra’s comment living on that money plus it’s probably a whole lot more!!! She has the show and could do more with partnering up with another business in the meantime she has loads of experience and lots to be grateful for!

That Cool Kid Chris my theory is that her mom has secretly spent almost or all of the trust & that’s why she hasn’t given D’Andra access to it....Mama D is out here driving a brand new $400,000 Bentley while the company she built is failing. Something just doesn’t add up

I love Jenny, Her and Donny are the cutest!!! I don’t think Dandras mom was doing that for the best interest for her because she said it best her mother loves money and knows exactly how much she has and she wanted out after it was in the ground so what kind of gift is that? Skincare is at the height of exploding with the amount America spends on it! I bet she will give it to the dog because her mom is jealous of her or something! A lot of old school Mother’s are jealous of their daughters when they’re beautiful like Dandra! I think her mother’s abuse verbally is why she is drinking so much and if she doesn’t stop she will need alcohol/drug treatment in house and that is very expensive for people who are self employed! Stop ✋ drinking Dandra and that’s the only thing I agree with LeeAnn it doesn’t look good!!!
