My daughter gave me a “live” magnolia and lavender wreath in October. It was gorgeous and fragrant. As the wreath aged, it became more and more beautiful with shades of green and brown. I misted it weekly then took it down to put up my Christmas wreath. The live magnolia wreath was my most favorite wreath ever!!!

Loved how your wreath turned out..I have many Magnolia leaves in my yard, would you know what I can use to rub or spray on them so they don't dry out and I can use to make a wreath like yours? Thank you.

I used artificial magnolia leaves, so I’m not experienced with preserving real magnolia leaves. I’ve heard of people using wilt stop to keep their fresh Christmas greens looking fresh longer. Or you could preserve your magnolia leaves. This takes longer, but will make the wreath last much much longer.

Yes, I add them in along the grain of the grapevine so they lay pretty flat.
