I had three interviews for a primary PGCE in the UK recently, and they asked me about what it means to be professional within teaching, 2 things you've learned from your experience with children, and a current educational issue/something in the news! I just have my English skills test to take and then i'll have an unconditional accepted place for September. I can't wait!

Once you start wearing glasses means you're now ready to start teaching. I'm sure that you are well aware of the rule that no teacher ever teach while still having perfect eyesight. So if you want to teach i'm afraid that you're going to have to continue wearing glasses from now on. Lucky for you that you were already very attractive even before things started becoming blurry enough for you start wearing glasses. If anything glasses only seem to make you even more attractive now.

First of all, I could listen to you talk all day long. I love the sound of your Scottish voice. Even wearing glasses you still look far too attractive to be a teacher. From what I could tell you're a bit shortsighted so you need glasses to see things at a distance clearly. I'm a retired optician if you're wondering. Over then next few years you can expect your eyesight to further worsen a bit each year due to your young age and the amount of close work you will be doing such as reading and studying. You can expect to be wearing glasses full time within a year or two. So it's a good thing you look as amazing wearing glasses. But then again, teachers are expected to wear glasses. I remember in high school every teacher I had was rather old and they all wore glasses. The only exception was my junior year history teacher. She was young and very pretty and I always looked forward to my history class just because of her. When we came back for Christmas break I was surprised to see her wearing glasses. She must have just gotten them because she was doing a lot of taking them off and putting them back on. At one point she was in front of her desk teaching when realized she wasn't wearing her glasses. She turned around to get her glasses and as she was putting them on she said that she had just got them 3 days earlier and she was still trying to get used to wearing them. She told us that she had noticed a couple months before Christmas break that she was having trouble seeing posters on the back wall of the classroom. She said she had a feeling that she needed glasses and an eye exam proved it. That was the last time I ever saw her without glasses. But like you, she still looked just as attractive wearing glasses as she did before she got glasses. .
