Jensen looks sad too, it's an effect of being so highly sensitive, whenever he's reflecting or tired. And he was also bullied in school - that stuff has lasting effects. I think Dean is just an amplified version of that, of having seen dark things. But for highly sensitive folks, the joy is felt more deeply too. So yeah, I love the pure light in both their faces (J2).
