nope, the northstar was cracked already, he threw it not to crack it, but to give a message that its not about the trophies or the fame or anything, its about the glory and respect you earn, thats why i look up to him as one of my biggest idols

You really should read why Jensen left YYF and understand his story instead of just jumping to bold conclusions like that. What good is winning every contest if you aren't even genuinely happy? Jensen realized what the true prize of winning is and learned from it. If you really think Jensen did this to slander YYF then you are wrong because he didn't. He did it to simply show that its not about medals and shiny objects, its about the feeling of accomplishment. Its something no one can take away.

I'll bet he's really, actually, a nice guy on a personal level. Weird cuz I just bought that throw (well the fingerspin edition northstar in orange)... I got used to the same old tiresome anthropological dance, just to different tunes, in sport a little and in hobby (as #2 on Google selling tarantulas online, living it, before developing a severe allergy and selling out to Ken who got signed on Animal Planet the second I quit) and there's a lot of frustrating behaviors of people, but I must say in yoyo there are some of the most intensely rude, cocky, thoughtless, selfish, and just -- cavalier, passively yet willfully hurtful individuals I've encountered yet. But it's like the dichotomous aggro/amore sides of a pit bull because this sphere comes with some of the most relentlessly fun and appealing people and hardware out of anything in existence, at the same time. It does seem like the blurring of the line between kids and adults, here, unchaperoned, in the treehouse alone, yields childish behavior rubbing off on adults threefold over maturity rubbing off on kids. I'm not talking about Jensen. I'm talking about some of the cause behind some of the stuff probably eating him. I don't know him, if I had to guess I'd say much of the cockiness is, as he even claimed then, genuinely calculated and cultivated, yet it's also got the really bad side effects of making people think either 1) you deserve heat or 2) you can presumably accept a flamethrower in the face no problem if you're already surging headily into the kitchen with, maybe, a lighter and a can of hairspray with. But the problem also is you're one and the crowd is endless. The potential heartless GigaThrong aiming at the jugular 24/7 a click away. Forget you're not doing real damage with your smaller flame, it's predictable human behavior they're going to target you relentlessly because they're already looking for a target all the time anyway and you're waving "here I am!". I showed up at my buddy's house and found my girl in his bed and when I asked him why he would be so unapologetic about it, he just said, "Oh, well, you're always getting the girl the rest of us want, so I just thought I finally won by getting one over on 'The Great Jeff'"... when he truly grasped my humility (today and always) and lack of self-esteem (at the time) he began trying to make it up to me and I think he still does. Maybe some people need to know Jensen better if he still goes through lows attributable to people seeing fit to shit on him. But I don't know anything about him, this is a story about me, looking at him.
