Try this...Flubber Recipe...the consistency is like a rubber ball & jiggles like jello.... 1 1/2 cups warm water 2 cups elmer white glue food coloring 1 1/3 cups warm water 3 teaspoons borax Directions: 1 In one container mix 1 1/2 cups warm water, white glue and a few drops of food coloring. 2 In a second container mix 1 1/3 cups of warm water and Borax. 3 Mix the Borax mixture into the glue mixture until combined. (may be some liquid in bottom of container). 4 Place Fubber on a tray and let stand for a few minutes before playing with it! 5 Store in air tight container.

Lanna Carpenter or how to make slime: get a cup of warm water, borax, a bowl, a spoon, glue, food coloring and or glitter *Step one* put one spoon of borax into the warm water and stir *Step two* grab your bowl and put as much glue you want in it (if you want fluffy slime add *shaving foam* but more foam than glue) *Step three* add food coloring and or glitter and stir *Step Four* slowly add the borax solution and mix until you are able to grab and play with it *And there you go your slime and yes I've tried it and I love making it (even my mom lol)*

Another cool experiment with that is to get a speaker, preferably a big subwoofer, lay it flat, cover it really well with saran wrap, and pour the water/corn starch mixture in the speaker well, then turn it up loud, with something that has wicked bass in it... Then, watch it dance around... It's rrreeeaaallllllyyy cool!!! Try it out! :0)

For anyone curious, this is called a Non Newtonian Fluid. Its viscosity (simple way to think of viscosity is how thick it feels, like oil vs water) is different depending on the force applied to it.

Yeah, it gets even more interesting with silly putty (which is also a non newtonian fluid). If you Smash it with a hammer, it will shatter as though it's a solid. Back in '04 at least, they were looking into these types of substances as potential new forms, or additives, to various kinds of armor. Think of a bullet proof vest that is flexible and easily bent, but turns hard as soon as a high shear force (like a bullet traveling at Super sonic speeds) impacts it.

Hey jeana something good you can do with your juicer is out Oreos in it when you make ice cream. I don't think it makes juice but the bin that stores the bits that don't juice will have like Oreo bits in it and it would be a great addition to the ice cream. You can do this with any cookie.
