I love Somi so much but she needs to make a decision-either own singing parts and not in others or sing everything because it so obvious that she is lip syncing in some parts, then pretends like she is singing in others, and then doesn’t pretend like she is singing in other parts…. like?????? I couldn’t help but be like huh? like we know, why your lips movin’ if you aren’t singing? People can tell when it’s a backtrack or a vocal spike. (But also just to say, when she was singing live it was incredible!! She has great energy and amazing vocals, but I wish she would just own it more) 😅- this also applies to her other performances at OVERPASS, pretty sure Birthday was majority lip synced.

Everyone enjoy the stage and her performance if you don't like why you care so much about it to drag her. Watch her live singing in everywhere and she never lipsync but if she does like every artist did too it's already been set up

idols need to take breaks during performances to be able to do the choreographies properly. she doesn’t need to “make a decision”, singing certain parts and lip syncing to the backtrack IS the decision. every singer does it. especially ones that have choreographies to get through. mind you somi could still be considered a rookie as a soloist and she still sings a lot of the song live. all yg or yg affiliated artists use backtracks that have certain parts w the lead vocal and parts where it’s just instrumental. that’s how it works.

Do you sing and dance at the same time? It’s not easy at all, I’m pretty sure everyone over there had fun and didn’t mind! The stage is also huge as well and she has to make sure she gets to see everyone in different parts of the concert hall. If you love Somi then don’t hate you have to understand that some artists have to take a break from singing to catch their breath. It doesn’t sound you love Somi but you are dragging her which is bullshit. A lot of the artists do it why do you need to say Somi “needs to mak a decision.” You think singing and dancing are so fuckin easy when it isn’t.
