The design of your tapering jig is super simple and elegant. Including the wedges. I'll do my best to copy it. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you. There is no particular drawing to refer to, and I made it by modifying it every time.

Seems it didn't need most of what you made. You used the planes by eye, rather than use the jig. sanding in the end removed the need to make the diagonal planes. Lots of work, little worth.

It's not a good idea to slander someone else's efforts without actually trying them out. Most wooden objects require sanding. I showed you the easy way. It would have been helpful to someone.

@@sonmade the easy way for Kip is to buy chopsticks :) from his comment can assume that his one of those who don't appreciate handwork and his channel name says all - ''Kip does stuff'' not makes stuff

@@sonmade I like the jig but I think he has a point, you should be able to get a better finish off of the handplane than you can get with sanding it.
