Guys it seems like at 9:05 I skip how to build the top of the tower, don't know what happened but a video clip must have skipped. Its rather simple though, cobblestone stairs, 2 blocks of cobblestone on each stair block, then fill in the gaps with spruce wood slab/stone brick stairs & cobblestone wall. =] Sorry about it guys!

Whew! what a build! OK, so you left me hanging on that small tower and I was a bit worried but your comment below helped so thanks for that. Now, I really, really, really need an interior design (part 3) because I have no imagination or ability to decorate the inside of this massive masterpiece. I would really, really, really enjoy the heck out of it if you can do it. I have already liked everyone's comment asking for interior build part 3. Thanks for the massive effort on this build.

I've just finished Part One. I built it on survival. It wasn't too difficult to build scaffolding around it to manoeuvre around but I can imagine it will be, with the towers & all, so an interior would be fantastic but not that necessary I suppose, it must be easy enough to figure out. It's a really fun build- my first major one. Thank you Jera!! Have fun in Miami!!

Absolutely love this build, its so survival friendly.... mostly... I built 3 so far, one is my survival base in the nether, I used a double piston Redstone portcullis with iron bars in gate area, highly effective and practical build, thanks a million mate!

Hey Jera, new suscriber here ! French Minecraft player, I was looking after some tutorials and didn't found any one valid in french (some kids with weirds mics, ok). I've discovered your tutorials and they appeared so detailed, I'm aware of the time it took from you to build all these videos. Congratz for that ;) I didn't know if your build was valid in survival mode, so i decided to make it on my server. After some hours farming cobblestone and wood, I've realised your fortress in about a day. I finished the castle, and it looks AWESOME! haha. Now I have to see what to do on the inside of it. I made a couple just cosmetic changes on the outside just because I'm using Modern HD 2 not John Smith so textures are a bit different.

I simply admire the way you build. But the thing that amazes me the most, is the precise and detailed way of doing tutorials. I have compared you a bit to Madness64, which is also great, but the way you do it is much more newbiefriendly. I saw you missed a part around 9 minutes, where you'd finished off the top of the tower, but haha, no worries, easy to replicate just by looking at it. Hello Jera, I have made a larger scale version (and slight changes here and there) of this build on my server, actually quite a while ago now. I've turned it into a pretty nice dungeon, called the Haunted Keep for my adventure map server of sorts. I just wanted formal permission to use this build. Hey Jera, I was just wondering if you have at all tried implementing a piston gate or something into this build? I've been looking into trying it out but honestly there just isn't a compact enough gate that will work. I love the design of this castle, but I don't want to have to rip 80% of the building apart just to try and make room for the ridiculous restone circuits. I'm no guru in that field by any means, and the castle is badass regardless of an automated gate, the idea more or less just interested me and I figured giving it a shot would be cool. Anyways, love the video, great tutorial. I share in the pain of those that did it via survival mode, I don't want to climb another piece of dirt scaffolding for a while :p. Take it easy.
