There are 99 Episodes! And the Part in S5 E7 where they said that Jeremiah is alive DOENST exist xD. Why couldnt they let him fall into the acid and dont tell how they story with him go on. I dont get it. The DC Dumbasses could have said he died and we Fans could have said ,,nope he is coming out like Jack Nikolson, we just dont see it''.

@@faoneill Jeremiah wasn't insane. He was completely sane, he was trying to rebuild the world for Bruce. Jeremiah had attachment issues, his family is dead and Bruce was the first friend he ever had. All he wanted was to see Bruce happy and by his side. As friends. Jerome was a psychopath who only wanted to see destruction. All Jeremiah wanted was to be important to Bruce, it didn't matter what it took.

@@escanor1434 No, no. He's a sociopath. Not a psychopath. There's a difference. Psychos are crazy and unpredictable, sociopaths just don't feel remorse for their actions. To him human life is worthless -except for Bruce, but that's a different issue- and he can't feel remorse so he can kill on a whim. His brother was just a straight up psychopath with no motive , only built up anger. Which usually doesn't end well when you're psychotic. Jeremiah had a motive, he did it because he thought taking away everbody else would make Bruce love him. Simple as that, really.

All three of these boys are an interesting group. The twins saw Bruce as their brother. Jerome saw him as a brother he missed and Jeremiah saw him as a brother he needed. Issue for both was Bruce was hurt and didn’t want anyone else to be in his heart and never allows anyone expect Alfred and eventually Robin. If Bruce’s parents never died and Bruce meet Jerome at school maybe they would be friends. Then he would meet Jeremiah at a Wayne event for the generators and maybe patch their bonds up. They would be brothers all three... but this is Gotham where good ideas and family bonds break and dissolve. Penguin’s family tormented him and he killed them all. Scarecrow’s own father experimented on him if my memory works. All these families were destroyed by Gotham and its curse on them all. Family is one of the biggest themes of this show and we’ll see it tested in the series finale when we see Bruce hopefully adopting Robin or having dinner with Alfred or sparing J from his wicked fate.

Jeremiah was so hopelessly enamored with Bruce that he did some really crazy shit just to get his attention, namely reanimating his dead parents so he could kill them himself; to be the man Bruce saw when he closed his eyes. And even though Bruce rejected his love and attention, he still knew what Jeremiah so desperately desired; to be his best friend. I mean, could you imagine what was going through Jeremiah's head upon falling into the acid; looking up at Bruce as he went...

When you decide to use blade while probably armed because Jeremiah was a paranoid before the insanity gas so after he wouldn’t go without it a proper weapon anywhere, take the hits, still holding out the gun shows me that he never would have hurt Bruce, at least physically about mental trauma he caused Bruce that day is another talk, he lost it as comparing this Jeremiah to the cold and calculating one who still had some control over his actions it’s obvious that mentally he does not realize what he is doing. Yet even in this state I’m pretty sure he would have pushed him to the acid. Bruce may say all he wants about “his particular shall no kill” but that day he pushed Jeremiah not in self defense but as in revenge mode for Selina and Alfred as the guy with still not cured wounds knife wounds inflicted on him by Selina (who again Bruce let do it Tom someone who basically can’t even answer for his actions) looking like haven’t slept from weeks is not a major adversary in the hand to hand battle. I’m just curious why all those people who were affected by Alice blood for example were cured and their actions in that period were count as something they did without control. Yet, here we have a person who may have been a calculating and manipulative yet not a murderer is intoxicated by his brother loses his hold of the reality his and everyone kinda prefers to beat him up from the day one instead of say “hey poor dude, Jerome has the last laugh. Jeremiah needs help maybe there is a way to do something about, like study what was that gas, what part of the brain is affected etc” yet here the best friend Bruce kinda forgets that he bonded with this poor soul and kinda decides again from day one to hate him, beat him, insult him and finally go for the kill. Deserved after what he did to him yes, but if we add the insanity in the equation then I must say that Gotham police really did a bid job that day he was arrested. You don’t beat someone while interrogating and for sure you don’t beat someone who basically is the major victim in this drama. You arrest this person and make sure that he doesn’t hurt himself or anyone else while trying to understand what was done to him. Poor Jeremiah, if he regained the sanity seeing how his ‘best friend” never even attempted to help him which is not the same than stop him, that for sure, but the option of helping Jeremiah was never on the table. And giving that another fan of the double moral aka Detective Gordon who should have known after the Alice blood how horrible is this and understand Jeremiah better yet again decid to go for the kill. He didn’t went for the kill with his girlfriend number 1 and number to. Seriously in the entire show Oswald gains all the hero’s by human decency at least he treats his friends as friends and his enemies know what to expect from him. A politically correct criminal if you want. Same with the Riddler when Ed has more grip of his mind.

Perfect. Absolutely wonderful. It shows people how Jeremiah truly feels. Yes, he has killed many innocent people, and many not so innocent people along the way. But you have to see, Jeremiah saw through people, he saw Bruce has a darkness. He just needed to set him free, Jeremiah was always like this, but didn’t express it until the right time. It shows you Jeremiah isn’t just a prototype of the Joker, yet, he is more than that, someone who is truly worthy of a movie, unlike many. He deserves an entire story, he is just a fascinating character.
