Freeman is a great coach. It was simply OSU’s season this season. I have no doubt ND will be back here at some point with Freeman under the belt

I have sympathy I'm using the word sympathy for Ryan Day. I think you could be the coach as long as he wants he already won a national championship most coaches a lot of coaches I should say have never won a championship. Ohio state was the best team and they proved it.

ND gameplan was trash. Leonard Moore barely covered smith and we played zone most of the second quarter. Coaching lost the game before the first snap.

@ChadSmith-q5l i would go down playing the way we played the rest of the year. It didn't work vs usc and didn't work vs osu. Watts was out of position all game and every blitz we got beat hard. It's definitely hindsight but you have to play your best players and can't put your third corner alone on the best player in the country on the biggest play of the game.

Both did well with injuries this year. OSU also had 2 starting OL out, 1 DL out, 1 CB out and 1 WR out. Both will be back next year with really good teams.
