As a recovering addict I can say I held on till the storm was over. People were praying for me even if I didn't want prayers. I thought I was a mighty person and could do all on my own. Boy was I wrong. I don't have answers to every thing but I do have an answer to one thing. When you think God can't reach you, look around cause he is right there. Prayers works. People say well I've prayed and prayed and God hasn't answered. Just hold on cause he heard you he is gonna answer just hold on. If he can take a low drug addict like me and turn my life around to where it is now he can move your mountain too. Just hold on.

A song (many) can relate to, I'm sure! Not just cuz of PHYSICAL reasons, but SPIRITUAL, too. About 21/2-3 yrs ago, i stood at my front door, in physical pain from my breaking heart, i just told God, "i give her to you completely as of this moment" my only child walked away, no intention of ever coming back. I refused to bow to worldly ways for her. I discovered this song & it helped me thru what i thought would never end. But i held on, so He helped me cope w/the pain of a broken-hearted mother. STILL holding on. When i wonder if it's worth it or not, i figure "gotta KEEP holding on if i wanna find out!! :-) GOD IS GOOD & I GOT BLESSINGS ALL MY OWNsimply cuz i let God take control.

my daughter also walked away and left 2 sons and a mothers broken heart and I pray everyday God helps her to fight her addiction and come home

@@Best-Rylan9 I was fighting addiction. I can relate to your daughter. You keep praying God will grab a hold of her like he did me. Stay on your knees start fasting and just give it to him. I'm praying for you and your daughter.

To everyone out there please keep me in prayer my mom got me watching Jeremiah Yoakam long time ago she passed away February 28th of 2018 I've been through a big battle I've lost a lot this is July of 2019 and I'm still in a deep depression Satan is trying to fight me bad a lot of bad thoughts has went through my head so I asked everyone please keep me in prayer I'm still trying to hold on

Hey i really love your music and dedication you give to the lord i myself am a song writer and singer i was on fire for the lord back in 2000. I went to nashville and recorded a cd and it was really going good until I fell back. And for years i went without the lord guiding only letting the devil pull me into drugs and leading my life in and out of jail.With a wife and 3 boys who depended on me but the devil had me blinded and i about lost the most important things i had in my life. but the struggles and hard times was really getting me down until i decided that my life had to take a different road. the road i was on was the devils highway and i needed a change so i decided i needed god back in my life. because he was the only one that could change the direction in my life.Now i am singing again in church again writing songs that have meaning. And me and my wife got baptized back in late november.tempature 39 outside walking into the river it was cold but coming back out it was warm as a summer day.but god has blessed us tremedously im 8 months clean and i just recently got a service managing job at clayton homes in richmond ky making great money.And trying to spread the word that there is a better life out there if you want it you just have to give it to jesus and he will bless you more each day as long as you give him all the praise that he deserves if your ever in the central ky area please. I'm not sure if you've heard but there are two boys age 14 missing out to sea in Jupiter Florida. There Is still hope and prayer that are alive more than a week later.
