This movie made me think of the first time I met my friend Steve on a bridge in Kansas. Not realizing then when I met him that he would leave such a beautiful imprint on my heart. He was a photographer and I was doing photography as a hobby after my divorce. He handed his card to a friend and from then on I was curious about him. I found him on FB and later on we reached out to each other. Our first photo outing was with my daughter because I didn’t feel comfortable with us by ourselves. He is a Christian man but yet we were strangers. Sooner or later we did many more outings, dinners and even sing together. One day steve told me he had cancer. I was surprised but yet struggling believing that he did. Steve devoted his life to Jesus and never led on that he was even sick. He hid it very well. Yet before he passed away Steve loved many people and continued to serve and love Jesus until he passed away. I only knew Steve for little over a year. I was so hurt when he passed away suddenly. I loved him so much yet the time together we had seem so very short. I’ll always remember how special Steve made me feel every time we were together. God gave me this friendship that I’ll always cherish. One day I’ll see steve again but it still hurts because I miss him so much! It’s been 8 years since Steve died. I think of him often and will never forget him. ❤

Amen to Jeremy and Adrienne for sharing this story. And they are absolutely right. God does use brokenness for His glory if we let Him. I have been through one of the worst circumstances in my life in the past month. A long-time Christian, my eyes became focused on the wrong priorities and it took being homeless, jobless, and almost friendless to set me straight, but I have never felt closer to God. He has been with me every step of the way. If it wasn't for God, I would have allowed Satan to come in and drag me into depression and despair. I have two job contracts and am at a new church. Praise the Lord.

I had a car years back before I got saved that wouldn't start some times and I went to a food giveaway that a church had one time and when I went to the different location after the church service to pick up the food my car wouldn't start. One of the gentlemen there asked if he could pray for my car and I said that he could and when my car started I broke down crying because the LORD used that to show me that HE loved me.

I want you guys to know that there have been many occasions where the songs you and your family have written and sung have touched my heart. I cried all throughout this video because God has been so, so faithful! I remember in Bible college at Murrieta in my Acts class, Joey Buran praying for Jeremy and Melissa. And the memory of their picture at Calvary Costa Mesa years and years ago. It's so exciting and real to see Jesus working and using your lives to minister the gospel. I pray for you guys often and I had no idea about the places you've visited. I laughed too at some of the stories. Lets continue the race, keeping Jesus as the main One in our lives. The songs that I enjoy most of Jeremy's are those with Adrienne, they are great together. I have difficulty breathing and have growths in my lungs, it's probably advanced lymphoma. This follows 27 years of daily, increasing pain as a result of an injury whilst working in work God gave me. That's the bad, the good is that we have the love of God, Jesus upholds me, life is good, life beyond will be perfect.

How do you handle the situation gracefully? It does hurt being with someone you love and you really feel sorry that it was a terrible loss. For them there is still hope that they will see the love of their life again but how about the present? It feels like you will always be the second-best even if they say i love you everyday. I'm sure the past love of your life who's already at peace and in heaven will say, please move on, love the person that you are with right now because I'm sure it does hurt even if they're gone for so many years. Maybe we just need to be sensitive to the feelings of our new partner now. Hope to hear a story of Jeremy and Adrienne too like how he share the story of his first marriage (Just sayin 💚)

"frustrated" interesting adjective to use when the deepest most unbearable grief crushes you until you can no longer breathe. The suffering of a human being is the betrayal of all that is declared in God's word. God's word is surely not for us in this life, but apparently the Gospel is that "at some point" AFTER WE DIE and after most of us, of ALL ages, races and religions, suffer horrific, traumatizing, unbearable losses of loved ones in ways even more grotesque, unimaginable and unthinkable God will care about us. Doesn't preach very well in my opinion.
