This song absolutely saved my life while I was deployed to Afghanistan. I was going down a very dark path, I thought there was absolutely no way out. Of course I'm not perfect, but I want people to see the Lords reflection in me. I want to live for him and only him. I remember this song when it first came out around 7 years ago. I was a different man then, of about 13 years old. I thought I was going the way of righteousness, but I was walking the path that man thought was right. A path that knew a little bit about God, but I didn't have a personal relationship with Him. Two years ago, my life changed for the better. One night, I was greeted with a sleepless night as God convicted me with His Word, and I can safely say that I have not been the same since. There are times when the evil one tempts me, but I cling to my Rock who is my strength. Christ told us that He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. When I listen to this song now, I feel very thankful that He's on my side, even when I need Him most.
