Without Jeremy Lin the Hornets would have been swept. No question!

+Robace Kai Siang Tey - I think its safe to say that the Hornets would not have won the game without Kemba's massive production but I also don't think they win without Jeremy Lin's play either. The Hornets would have wasted Kemba's output without Lin's play. Look at the Pacers game where Paul George busted out but lost the game. No one else stepped up to help him.

and at the end he got a reward from Hornets for a new offer of $5.6m. Unbelievable that is an insult offer from Hornets. They got money for Batum and Marv; but not for Lin.

His game has progressed tremendously this year by being able to play in a system that plays to his skill sets. His offensive play is multifaceted in that he can drive, create the foul and finish with and 1's. His aggression to the hole creates 3 point opportunities, racks up fouls on opponents and draws in defenders for easy dump offs to big men in the paint or wide open threes for shooters on the perimeter. HIs 3-point shooting is only going to only to get better as time goes by which is going to help his overall game. With Kemba driving the 1st team and Lin driving the 2nd team, this team has a real chance to become a consistently solid team. If they can retain Lin and their big men for next year and Michael Kidd Gilchrist comes back healthy to help lock down the opponent's best player and add more rebounding, this team can be lethal.

Hope Michael Jordan will give JLin something extra in the new contract to make up for this season's bargain salary. JLin's finding chemistry with Kemba and the rest of the team. Like Job in the Bible, JLin just perseveres through all challenges put in his way and puts his trust in God. And I'm not religious.

clifford fucked up by not trusting jeremy in game 7. Jeremy was the lifeline of hornets. but clifford mysteriously benched lin for no reason. Letting kemba go into iso was the worst tactic against a team with the likes of a shot blocker like hassan whiteside.

I wonder where all of the Lin Haters are these days? Crawled back under the rocks from whence they came, I suppose. It's not so much that Lin is or is not "elite," but that he clearly belongs and may be the best guard off the bench (from the perspective of what he means to his team) in the NBA. So many haters in NY, Houston, and LA all said Lin didn't deserve to be in the NBA. Now he is probably one of the most underpaid players out there. I've always said starting isn't that important; it's what you bring to the game and to the team that is important. JLin is a very important cog in both the defense and the offense for Charlotte. I hope he realizes how well he fits here and doesn't chase the "glory" of starting. It is his energy that is so valuable, more so than even being a good starting guard ... as opposed to a GREAT off the bench player. He cannot sustain this degree of energy all game and is almost certain to break down physically trying to duplicate this from a starting position. I hope Charlotte offers him a good contract and he is wise enough to stay, at least for one more year.
