For people who don’t know what depression is: It's so difficult to describe depression to someone who's never been there because it's not sadness. Sad hurts but it's a healthy feeling. ... Saying I'm tired when you're actually sad. Depression has nothing to do with having a bad day or being sad.

You truly differentiate between sadness and depression once you have experienced depression. It’s such a known and believed idea that depression is deeper than sadness but I didn’t understand the difference until I was keeping myself in my room all day when I didn’t have to go out with absolutely no motivation. Whenever I left the house to coach football or go to class, it was like I was putting on a mask and had to hide this seemingly endless void that was taking over my entire body. I started skipping meals, avoiding my mom and brother, skipping classes. And no, I wasn’t being “weak.” I would sit in thought, wondering why am I feeling this way and how I could stop it, but at the time I was so deep in it that I just didn’t know where to start trying to improve. It really does just take a couple decisions that will eventually turn into habits. I could write forever, but my main thing is that depression truly sucks, however knowing your worth and how capable you are will get you through. You’ll be able to look back and realize how strong you really are.

Some of us have experienced rock bottom points in life. Where we are lazy to do anything. Just daydreaming, complaining, sad and even depressed. Before that happens again, calm your mind, heart, and feelings. Don't Rush Your decisions. #Bee_Calm
