A drum set is a nice Christmas gift Spiderman, I think that floor lamp is supposed to be a high hat. Badger!? Gee Potter. You are right Jeremy, it looks like a hippo with wings or a cape. Oh great, so now the snobby scoundrels can sling snowballs, duck! Snowgie, a sneeze creature. I'm learning things about Elsa today. Snowgie's expression is creeping me out! The good thing about Star Wars this year, is that because if his the other calendars are set up, it wins essentially every day it has a minifigure, and gets a decent placement on most build days. Infact, I think the designers really stepped up their game this year!

Despite being apathetic to the Star Wars calendar, I must admit the Ahsoka minifigure is beautiful! Gift of the day for me! The Hufflepuff badger statue is kind of cute! :3 Disney's see-saw with snow golem thingy was cute also! Spider-Gwen's drumset is lame, would it have killed them to have a print or sticker of Gwen's rock band (The Mary Janes), as Easter Egg?

I think the HP statues are meant to resemble the lamps in the Great Hall, they’re all sort of griffin-house mascot hybrids consisting of a griffin body & wings and the head of a lion/ eagle/ snake/ badger.

So hard to score today! There's Star Wars and then.....yeah. 6 points - Star Wars. See, THIS is the quality of minifigure we should be getting in advent calendars! Arm and leg printing, cool accessories. Superb stuff. 5 points - Disney. At least it contains a character of some sort, saving the rest of the filler from last place. 4 points - Marvel. Yes, Marvel. I can't quite believe it either. It's at least something different, I guess? 3 points - Friends. Only redeeming feature is that it does at least have some play value. All of 10 seconds worth before the missiles go missing. 2 points - City. So hard to choose between this and HP for last place. At least this is slightly less repetitive. 1 point - Harry Potter. Anyone get a sense of deja vu? Bored of these now. Festive Bonus Point - Disney. Close call between this and Friends, but the colours in the Disney build just make it feel more wintery. Scores - City 45, Disney 40, Star Wars 37, Harry Potter 36, Marvel 32, Friends 30.

I did, but reality is that I do have to film the daily videos in advance so I can't always react to new information as fast as I would like. I research, script, film and edit all of these myself (alongisde my full-time day job) so I need a buffer in case I get sick or something else comes up. We've had this debate many times over the past seven years in the comments. To get traction on KZbin, thumbnails have to be super eyecatching and the gifts get clicks. We're all victims to the algorithm. If I don't play the game, I don't get views and I simply won't be able to put in hundreds of hours to keep this series alive year after year.

Wow HP is really doing badly even though the other calendars are such crap that HP is doing well with the points. I am not enjoying HP this year. It is to predictable and the builds are really sad. The statues are embarrassing. If you have to guess what it is it is crap. So sad for HP.
