I'm just saying that the people in this video are most certainly hippies. To answer your question about when "hippie" became a bad thing, well, it shouldn't be any surprise to you that for some people it has always been a bad thing. I'm not one of those people, but I do see how an overabundance of hippies could potentially lead to a bad situation. For example, everyone knows about the great summer of love, but not too many people talk about the years that followed and how the streets of San Francisco were flooded with hundreds of teen runaways who ultimately became vagrant drug addicts often resorting to thievery or prostitution to support their habits. Trust me, I have met plenty of hippies who were very unkind, but I've also met hippies that have become some of my best friends. I'd also like to add that this band isn't bad at all... you know... for a bunch of hippies! LOL, all in good fun!

In 2011 I gave my best friend of 2 years, Katie, her first acid. 3 or 4 years ago she played me this tune and said it made her think of me that day. I loved it and we played it a lot but the name never stuck in my memory. It didn't matter though because I could always ask Katie the name again - she introduced me to such good music. Katie died December 2017. I can't ask her anymore. I had never even thought of this tune at all throughout my grief.
