You need to replace the back leaf springs and blocks with some proper Deavers. That way your rear will perform as well as your front.

I like those Wildpeaks. I had them on my Explorer and they were great in the snow. On my new 4 Runner though my next tires will be the MT Baja Boss ATs. Much more aggressive tread. Good looking truck brother.

Deaver racing makes great rear leaf packs, with built in lift if wanted so no blocks needed.

Looks really good bud! 37s are the way to go! or 40s if you really want to gain some clearance, but then you have to cut the body and upgrade the bumpers to add clearance.

Fox are good shocks but I prefer Bilstein. shocks... ADS Shocks are absolutely amazing, but 10 thousand dollar shocks are a little overkill for what you need. Trucks looks Bad Ass. Great job.

Curious...do you have any issues with 2nd gear feeling like it's short shifting? I just bought a new Silverado that is just like yours and second gear seems a little wonky...maybe it's just in my head, but it almost feels like the truck is skipping second gear and curious if you're having the same issue.

Nope, I actually think it has the smoothest transmission I’ve ever had in a truck. The 10 speed Chevy put in this one is smooth as butter. I almost don’t feel it shift. Mine is a 2020 6.2L, but I think they still use that transmission in the new ones.

Can’t agree with you more about the tire size. I put 35’s on my truck with a 3 inch lift and level. The F150 took it like a champ and looks great. #mancardv3 #taylorsideadwrong

I think depending on the vehicle, the lift height/tire size can go either way. I've seen some pretty goofy looking smaller trucks/SUVs trying to run 35's/37's and it just doesn't work. Plus, once you have installed all the gear you plan on bolting on, you will definitely lose an inch or so. 35's would be my min. size for this build, but 37's could certainly be a game changer, depending on where you plan on taking the truck off road. Great start to the build and can't wait to see the next steps!! #mancardv3 #taylorisdeadwrong

I work in a shop where we do tires and alignments, brakes and suspension etc. it’s amazing how many people will install their own lift kit and show up wanting the most expensive MT’s we have. Then they get mad because we can’t align their crappy kit, and their 4K mud tires are chewed up after 10K miles.
