I'm not at the end of your video yet, but I did Google and look up. There is a Dr.Samuel Glasgow III based in Cookeville, Tennessee, where I have to imagine it was his great great grandfather that built this home. I wonder if he knows.

I completely agree-it’s heartbreaking to see such beautiful antiques left to decay. Unfortunately, the Historical Society often faces challenges like funding, permissions, or logistical issues, which can make it difficult for them to intervene in time. I wish more of these forgotten pieces could find their way into museums where they could be preserved and appreciated. Thank you for watching and for appreciating the treasures these places hold!

Me too !! As a kid I was around a lot of antiques ( the 60’s -80’s ) I can understand why people are upset with antiques left behind - some children of antique dealers just don’t like them - but I can’t understand why they didn’t have someone come in an appraise and just sell it all - so people who love them can have them ! Also weirdly anyone notice that some rooms seem “very clean and organized “? And items ?? The instrument is an autoharp

Jeremy, you really blew me away at the end. Throughout your tour, I couldn't help thinking of everything in that house that was of high value and if it was ever slated to be knocked down, what would happen to what was inside. The sale of all the antique furniture could bring money for homeless shelters, and the dolls could make so many little girls so happy having their own doll, or maybe a small doll museum could be built for everything doll related in that house. I'm equally happy that the house was restored to it's original beauty and relatives can enjoy it again. Thank you for showing us this special home and us the good news that it was restored.❤

Hey Jeremy, Tampa here. WOW...what a great video on this old mansion. Its sad that all was just left as is and really means nothing to anyone except who it belonged too. I still have my grandmothers original Singer,. along with the instructions on how to replace the cord to the foot peddle and the oil can. Truly a beautiful piece. The painting on the sides of the machine itself, still perfect. I will never part with this. She lived in Massachusetts, and it was amazing to see her artifacts collected over her years. Thanks for sharing this home, another great video. It's also sad that the state doesn't take over and create a museum. It will probably be torn down and condos built in its place.

We have loves ones where we depend on live with us, then pass on. It hurts to the core to see everything they put together while living in this beautiful home. I was very pleased to hear the family took it over and renewed they home. Thank you for bringing this to us. The bullets you found are 45 cal. used in a 45 handgun and the submachine gun, WW2 vintage.

My heart felt immediate releif for all those magical antiques left behind to rot in accidental museum. This is simply one of the best exploration videos ive seen in a while. This video really highlighted for me why i love antique decor and furniture so much. Its not the price or how old it is, its the ornate one of a kind originality that was so easily lost in the manufactured era in the 80s and onward. Fitting in was still popular however our furniture and decor is where we showed our interests, favorite colors, and favorite styles. Growing up in the greens and browns of the 2000s really makes me appreciate the colors in which we used to use to color old homes . Its also WILD to me that only a few people would live in this GIANT house and how that was really kinda common once the kids moved out.

I’m thrilled to know the house was fully restored. It is a beautiful house! It’s wonderful to think that another family is creating their own memories in the home. I don’t think the one piece is a gun cabinet although it could be different from the ones my husband has. They have a a little row of brackets at the top lines in felt for the gun barrel to rest in so they stay securely in place and won’t slide in to the other guns. At least a cabinet for long guns. Maybe it’s for handguns but I didn’t see any brackets to hold those, either. I think the little musical instrument on the dining room fireplace may be a dulcimer, and the big piece also in the dining room containing table linens was a “linen press”. Maybe a Jackson press, but I have no clue about that. Enjoyed this so much!

It would be awesome to see an after photo once they restored the house back, which is rare to restore it must have cost a fortune.

You have mastered the art of showing the viewer your admiration and respect for history and beautiful antiques. Your voice is truly mesmerizing. Im not one to cry, but you brought me to tears- happy to see you again, and haunted by the thought that all we hold dear is forgotten and not as important as we deem it to be. Very very happy to see a new tour thank you so much

I wish you showed more of the dolls. I myself am a collector and she deserved her collection to be shown. You know she loved every single thing about it and put so much love and care into her collection. My heart breaks that they’re rotting away.

It's as if the house and its objects asked to be touched, admired. There was a moment when you touched a crystal chandelier and the sound seemed like a smile for a touch of life. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words. I have to admit, this journey does weigh on me deeply at times. Walking through these forgotten spaces, I feel the love and the loss imprinted in every corner. It’s overwhelming, almost too much to bear at moments. And yet, I feel a responsibility to bring these stories to light… to give them a voice. If not me, then who? I’ve experienced my own share of loss, and in some ways, exploring these places helps me heal, like finding pieces of myself in the stories left behind. But it’s a double-edged sword- while these stories offer moments of healing, they also remind me of the love I’ve lost. It’s a deeply personal journey, one I carry with me in every exploration. Thanks for your comment. It really struck a chord with me

Wow! So many beautiful antiques. I bet it was gorgeous before it got looted and decayed. The fretwork, light fixtures, fireplaces, stained glass, and panel work in the hallways are just beautiful.😍 Crazy that it was left behind and forgotten like that especially in Nashville. I used to live near Chattanooga, Tn. Thrilled to hear its been restored! Yay! Wish you were able to film an after episode.
