So similar here once, when the Lord took the usual words of "I am the way" and turned them inside out, showing me that myself, personally is saying this to the Lord in the sense "I am the way - you want me to be!" Laura, this song is so precious and Powerful! When you are not allowed to speak, to defend yourself or release the emotions you're feeling when you go through trauma, through an attack you end up stuffing everything down inside. Such was my case. Even after that ends, it can be hard to break what has become habit & lifestyle. And there are times I don't realize I'm doing it. A couple of years ago, I had been asking the Lord to soften my ❤ because it had become callous & hard. I was singing on our worship team at church & I saw a huge dam wall & His fist came down & hit it, but not with full force. It started cracking & breaking until it was shattered & I started sobbing. (With all the crying I did growing up & even as an adult, I discovered I had a lake of tears buried deep inside a cavern inside of me.) Anyway, after the dam break, then I saw Yeshua in the holy of holies & my ❤ was divided in half, half on 1 side & half on the other & He walked between. I was shocked & I sobbed some more. So precious that He would do that for me. I'm not able to go to the upcoming conference this month in Co, but I know God will make it up to me. Too much $. Just wanted to thank you so much for being His instrument of music & frequency that brings so much life, healing, truth, love, freedom & shalom to earth & to those who tune in! It's like a heavenly balm of Gilead! ❤
