Pretty! You’re actually supposed to dry them out or (mummify them by covering them in a mixture of spices for several days/weeks. )That way they don’t leak and they don’t rot … and they smell amazing!

Ever since I had gastric bypass surgery, I can't eat roast poultry because it's too dry. I used to love it, but ham sat well for last year's Thanksgiving and was really delicious.

That is interesting! Ham is also such a great meat to serve for the holidays. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving 😊

Funny thing, we don’t like turkey over here neither. So usually I get a big young hen and that is our turkey”. We do a lot of ground turkey on a regular basic, but not whole ones. It’s too dry for us as well. In Cuba, my laid husband and I used to bake a huge red snapper every Christmas and we also seat around the tree on Christmas morning ( 24 for us) and open the gifts while drinking chocolate that is set up to be prepared by the oldest child. Thank you. Going to make some pomanders now.

If you want to really release the fragrance of the orange, roll the orange around on a hard surface, with your hand with pressure to help release the oils before adding your cloves.

Those are beautiful! I’m so glad to know those exsist! Would it be easier to tie the string on first?
@JerikaZimmerman5 күн бұрын
I tried and it kept slipping 😅. I would suggest a wider ribbon and using push pins to keep them in place. My method with twine was rather sloppy 😂
@themossgarden96985 күн бұрын
I found a neat thing to make with beeswax, you can use little silicone molds and make Christmas decorations by putting some twine or ribbon into the wax as it’s hardening up. I found some cute little silicone molds they were for ice, at Walmart and also a tin with Christmas cookie things also at Walmart in the Christmas aisles across from the registers. I’m going to try to sell some and also give them as gifts 🎁
