I make a tallow blend, with tallow getting top billing. My customers love the rich, creamy lather and the conditioning way it makes their skin feel. I have made my niche be using tallow in the bulk of my products. I find customers love it.

We do a tallow soap! We do add other oils, coconut oil, olive oil and canola oil but I want to steer away from canola oil, even tho it’s a great oil, people in my area seem to not like canola oil. So this year I actually want to do 30% coconut and 70% beef tallow, and try some tallow lotion! You can make a 100% tallow soap it’s more of a beauty bar, it doesn’t suds well, but it’s so gentle and creamy on the skin. It’s a hard hard bar as well!

Jerika I have been rendering my tallow all day long today. Tallow always speeds up my butter. Might be my recipe , but just a head ups. Also 100% is hard as a rock and I need to cut it always within less than 24 hrs. I will recommend to do a one lb test batch if possible. For sure a favorite soap, amazing lather, long lasting, super creamy lather. Anyhow this week was my tallow everything orders for me. From tallow face butter to lip balms and anything in between. You will love it and your customers too!

Poor basset hound doesn’t know how to walk on slippy slidey floors🥹. You can tell he acts like he’s walking on ice. We had one for a time and she was super clumsy. Hoping the new house treats you, Cale and pets well. It looks beautiful! I do love your soapy skills!

Yeah she’s a clumsy one! And yes we’re loving it here!! 😊❤

My neighbor has 8 chickens, she says they are laying eggs like they are on a conveyer belt. We always get eggs from her. Have fun with it whatever you do.

A goat for goat cheese and they can eat grass so you don't have to mow a lot or buy grain.

I have some tallow soaps, although the majority I make are vegan. But I put tallow in with goats milk and honey. And unscented for those bars..I have up to 40% in my testing. Its nice to mix the oils. Tallow can get so hard, do you remember how soaps you may of bought get dry and crack, thats what a high amount can do. Since it speeds trace up you can even do lard with it for another hard oil. That was nice when I used 25% of each. Or 15% shea with the tallow. Im looking forward to see what you do with it. I dont render it, I just buy it ready to use. I have a family member I make an emulsified body butter, pumpable. It has 8% tallow. She is so happy it cleared up her grandkids eczema within a week. She also uses the soap for them with tallow, honey, g/m and oats. Maybe you can try those on your skin. 😊

This is so amazing to hear, thank you for the valuable suggestions! I absolutely want to try a tallow cream as well and will probably use an already rendered tallow for my makings 😊

I love all the camera angles you used to film yourself doing laundry. Thwt must take a lot of work to set up the camera to get the shots! I enjoy watching your days. When you said new years soap my mind immediately went towards peach 🍑

I have been making lard soap for yrs very popular not sure I would switch to tallow because that's where the marketing trend is going

@@JerikaZimmerman lard is pig tallow and it’s amazing as well and great to slow down trace. Very creamy, almost lotion kind of the lather that improves with time. You will not get an amazing lather at first, but just wait a week and the magic happens.
