One of my new favourite things is to watch your inspiring videos while I'm working in my own studio. I'm getting more nerve up to start my youtube but still not quite ready. I'm a big chicken of getting in front of camera but that is more of a personal issue. I just need to bite the bullet. Thanks for always creating so much amazing material for us to watch. I also love seeing the "colour" back in your labels. It screams YOU.

Ok, I am accepting invitations for next year 4th of July with you, lol so much fun and family oriented, LOVE IT. You should make some bath bombs like your cake. It looks so amazing 😻. For my shampoos I use coffee filters, cheap and perfect for the size. I was able to get some grease proof as well, but most of the time I just use the brown coffee filters from Walmart. Thank you for another amazing video! Just one more thing, we are on the 115-117, about 46 Celsius so if you want to switch, I take the 35!

Plz b careful had one of my fur babies get her tail in2 a wax melt room scenter. Had 2 take her 2 the vet bc she developed painful ulcers in her mouth probably from the essential oils in the wax. That Carrot Cake for the 4th was DELICIOUS….oh You are going to be doing some great crafting with the Reed Diffuser …..the white diffuser does look high end…..yes yes yes the heat can be a downer….but You made such beautiful sugar scrub it just felt so much cooler….white streaks gives some definition to the color waves….

Hi! A tip for you: Try drawing with ipad. Get the apple pencil. It's fun and you'll be amazed what you can do. The best thing is you can make it vector image from the start so it's great for printing and everything else. It's so easy and your drawings will look so much better with that than with a normal pencil and paper.

Jerika, do you use a base recipe for all of your soaps? I'm working on formulations for the blends i want to put out and ........help lol. I'm thinking it may be easier to come up with a base recipe and tweak according to the blend. I'm going crazy here. 🥴

Yep, I have two base recipes I bounce back and forth and tweak. I say keep it simple. If you find a soap recipe that works, stick with it!

Hi!! I would say 90% is the pocket 3. 9% is a Sony a6400 with either a 16mm lens and/or a 50mm lens and 1% is my iPhone 😊

I was soaping today in california and it was super warm! I tried swapping out oils to replace olive oil and I'm not sure what happened, my soap seized! Then when I was trying to throw it in the mold and it completely seperated and oil sat on top. What oil would you substitute for olive oil?

I'm so glad it's a little warm in the UK where we are blessed by the rain. We got the tail end of Storm Beryl but not as bad as what I have seen in Texas and I'm praying that people can rebuild their lives and stay safe. The Carribean was hit too and I await to see how bad It was. We may have a few days of heat coming 🥵 in August but coupled with rain I'm happy about that happy balance. Hope you have air con in the home to stay cool. You looked like you were quite warm. The UK are not so adequate at air conditioning in the homes as they built to keep heat in.

Hi Jerika thanks for sharing. I definitely need to try infusers. I normally don’t like ROSE smells either other than from the plant however, I recently purchased Rose bouquet for a Midwest fragrance oil and let me tell you it is a beautiful smell in soaps.

Is your husband diabetic? I noticed the patches on the back of his arms and assuming they are a CGM? My son is type 1 since 22 months. I love your channel. I am trying to start us my own body care business. Slow and steady. Your channel is so helpful and inspirational! It is very rewarding, but also a lot of hard work and long hours. For now I have to work out of our kitchen so that makes things a bit more challenging. Maybe someday I will have a separate “kitchen” space and somewhere to store everything other than my art studio and guest bedroom!😅

Yes! For over 30 years now. I was recently having issues with the CGM I was using but things seem to be resolved now had I’ve switched. I also use the OmniPodd insulin pump. Love that, it’s life changing! I wish you and your son the best. Type 1 is not a death sentence though it can feel that way sometimes with all the management and care! You’re doing great!
