@@Danny.Smitty Jeris and Gabriel Alexander wrote a demo of the song. then Alex Sacco and Matt J produced, mixed, and mastered what we hear now. I’m not trying to discredit Jeris in the slightest but engineers are often the unsung heroes of music and it’s always best to assume the song was mixed by someone other than the original artist. Unless the artist explicitly says they mixed it themselves, then it was prolly mixed by someone else. Even if the artist produces the music themselves. Engineering requires an entirely different skill set from composition. Many engineers don’t even have a musical background, they just understand audio to a tee. And musicians usually don’t have an audio background, they just understand composition to a T.
