That's why it's called fishing and not catching. Great video as always.

Ahh I put that down to ifi and waterways not caring about coarse poaching and cutting the grass on canals at spawning time 🤷♂️

I recently had a cracking day on the canal with a westin swim suspending. Tiny jerks and a slow retrieve. Why are you walking towards the cast?

Nice to see you catching on the Buster Swim buddy :)

Haven’t seen you use a jerk bait in ages! Used to be all you used at one stage! Also, I have found that downsizing my lures has landed me bigger fish. Had an 88cm on 7cm ShadTeez yesterday after casting the whole area with X-Rap Peto then one cast with 7cm and boom!

Nope. Ricky the Roach and pigshad. Still vastly superior using jerkbaits here in south Sweden.

Hey man, i got maybe a strange question for you but could you make a compilation of all the pike you caught? My 3yo keeps asking to see the big pike so that would be cool, he's a fan of you to 🤣

The key to jerkbait fishing in cold water is a long pause every once in a while, ive had that with twitchbaits aswell, they hit it when its suspending down. I think thats because they think the bait is "dead" or giving up the struggle, so they finish the deed.

Just got myself one of the Buster swim, in exactly the same color, nice surprise when looking for something to watch and wait the rain out so i can go and try my new zilla pike 30-80g Jerk rod. Hardbaits and preferably Jerk/glidebaits are Whats catching here so plan is to get better at jerking. All that jerking from the childhood doenst seem to help me Jerk fish any better which is sad.
