Al, I’ve never got the impression that you are shoving your beliefs down anyone’s throat. Just a simple invitation to learn from your life’s experiences and how your beliefs have blessed you. 👍🏻👍🏻! Thanks for bringing the spirit to fishing.

As much as that person has the right to say he thinks you are shoving your faith down his throat you have the right to share your faith! Amen, Al...one of the MANY reasons I have watched your shows my entire life!

The sharing has enhanced the show for myself.. I think that the shows are better because of it.. It connects for me on more than just the shared interest of fishing. The old days of the show were great but now with the sharing of your faith there is a greater connection .. Thanks for all of it Al. In the end it’s not 🎉fishing that will matter. 🤔😁

Jerking crappie and big gills is the way to go. I love using this presentation in the spring and fall🎣

Early last spring, I was catching big crappie on a 4" paddletail on a 1/4oz swimbait jig on nearly every cast. I've never experienced anything like that before as I always used 1/16oz beetle spins with various plastic. Can't wait to get out to that spot this year.

Was fishing jerkbaits for bass and pike before ice up and ran into a school of hungry crappie. Been nailing em on full sized jerkbaits cast after cast, day after day. Never realized this was an underutilized technique. I also fish for bluegill with topwater flies and a bubble float and get weird looks when I tell people about it. 😆 Fish on!

I will have to give this a try if the ice gets off the lakes and I get out in the boat before the Opener.

About the closing, as our Lord Jesus said on the cross, "Forgive them, Father, they know not what they do." Those pridefully dead in their sins deserve our pity and compassion and out of love and obedience we will faithfully witness to them, however, do not be offended by them and do not cast your pearls before swine. We too were like them once--slaves to our own ignorance, puffed up in pride, and deceived by the ruler of this fallen world. Shake their dust from your sandals and move on. You nailed it, Al. Praise Jesus!

Ending comments: and i don't like secular humanists shoving the false green religion, cult unproven darwinism and climate change nonsense down our throats. Keep saying what you say team...what we choose to believe is a free choice, but there are truths and every person is responsible for finding it out themselves...when you die...you go alone. and Jesus answered and said unto them, “take heed that no man deceive you; Matthew 24:4. Dead men walking..."those without God" are fish out of water...sorry really. Christ gave us every provision for life by His love for mankind.
