Honestly this game would've been much better off being a TellTale style of game: emphasis on decisions and character interactions/relationships, de-emphasize fighting and traversal. Hell this game kinda started moving in that direction by removing free-swinging fight mechanics. Just take out all the filler puzzle solving mini-"games" and swap it out for the MC interacting with other characters going through their own tests.
