I noticed the same. They dress well, they take care of their bodies. Some even came with their dads and uncles (nuclear family intact), no arts on their bodies , clean and original teeth, ...etc. Wow. I can see the direction they are going.

All rookies should listen to this. "Give up video games, give up going out with your friends" and study study study. That's the right idea. Throw yourself into this 100% and you'll be more valuable. Plenty of time in the offseason and when his playing career is over to do his own thing. Hopefully he'll have a championship ring (or two) with Seahawks logos on them.

So intelligent, I can see why John and Pete fell in love with this guy! Great attitude, and desire to improve! Willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win. Experience at both safety positions and slot corner, too. Physical guy, but has the head to be great. John and Pete found him by being thorough in their searches. Only Kansas City had him on their radar besides us, and we clearly wanted him more.

For me this is definitely the wildcard of the draft. Playing at New Mexico I didn't see any film and he wasn't on my radar at all, but he plays fast and physical. If that translates to the NFL level, he'll be a rock on special teams and potentially a guy that can play backup to Jamal Adams like Ryan Neal did for us.

As a free safety this kid shines in every aspect of the position. WATCH HIS TAPE!!! Tell me if you see what I see? He’s not quite as angry as FS Earl Thomas III BUT he pops out on 🎥 film! It’s not easy for a FS to catch 👀 eyes when watching a play because they are usually the last ☝️ to arrive. This kid showed speed and ball hawking abilities. Cool, calm demeanor. Hard worker. For being a 7th round selection it is my opinion that he has an excellent shot at making the 53 man roster. Do not 💤 sleep on Reed II. A 7th round pick earning a roster spot is unheard of. So I’m going out on a limb by saying go ahead and add him to our already elite safety group!!!

Go watch this guys pro day on a local New Mexico channel I’ve never seen anyone backpedaling soo fast and turning left then right while moving backwards turning and going he’s going to be better then quandre diggs imo when he gets his shot. The quickness and sudden reaction is top shelf. It’ll be great for him to learn from diggs this year then take over.

It was easy to see he was likely going to get drafted to Seattle - he was a visit was your first big alert, then to read the reports and see the video on him basically screamed this is the kind of DB Pete likes - involved all over the field, fast, tough, etc., overcoming the odds and a little underrated by everyone else. I hope he sticks and makes his presence known - starting with STs.

I'm very impressed with every player the Seahawks drafted the last two years, that they are mature, which shows that they are what John Schneider calls them--"grown men." The big flaw is if the Seahawks had lowered their very high standards to waste the 5th pick--or any pick--on Jalen Carter.
