So happy to finally have this track out!! This was actually one of the last tracks that I wrote for the album. My initial idea was to use the chords in a different, more chill and grounded track. But after trying and trying, it was never quite sounding like how I wanted. So, I decided to try the opposite… Go for a track with big drums and dynamic synths. And once I found the right vocal chops, I was off to the races and the rest came together in just a couple of hours!! That doesn’t always happen, but I love it when it does 🤩 I immediately had this feeling that this track was something special, and when I first showed it to my management and friends, everyone shared that same feeling. It embodies the record’s sound so well, so it only made sense to make it the lead single 🙌🙌
