I don't suppose I'll ever forget the first time I heard you play. On the front porch of that small farmhouse we both hold dear in our memories. And at that time, neither of us had any vague clue about how far you'd go in life playing what, at the time, looked to me like a guitar with a hub cap on it. Ya did good cuz. I'm happy for you.

I really wish I could have met you after the Alexandria show. I'd love to shake your hand. Like many of us. But I got to say you are my musical influence. Even though I don't pick up my string contraption very often. And I can barely play. Every time I pick it up I say to myself I got to learn to play this thing. It sure won't learn to play itself. But Jerry, I got to admit man You are absolutely amazing on this device.!!

It seems to me, and tell me if I’m wrong here, but the dobro seems like if a banjo and a guitar had a baby.
