Everything I’ve heard from Jerry is what many Synthwave artists miss-the point. I love Synthwave, but a good deal of it is window dressing. This, Sunglasses Kid, Absinth3, and Foret De Vin are retro pop indistinguishable from the real deal because they put in the time and effort to write and produce a song. This works on its own, and with the artwork, I assumed it was vaporwave, but this isn’t a yesteryear gem, it’s one from now.

Feels more like Italo Disco than synthwave, which is probably why it feels more authentic since Synthwave is largely a product of Italo Disco
