During the Lunt Fontanne shows, this became my favorite tune, for a while. I would visualize the whole thing - in the forest, pushing her in, Father oh Father there swims a swan, Oh the wind and rain......and he didn't give the other one anything, cried Oh, the dreadful wind and rain.......and he pushed her into the river to drown, Oh the wind and rain............. the story, visualized, from the imagery in the tune, grounded in me.
