I was at this show.. alone. My young heart was broken. I was tired,, I sat alone in the balcony and fell asleep. I woke as he played the intro. The sweet sound.. the piercing notes.. I burst into tears.. and danced to Jerry. As he and his band transcended me into the stars… I never forgot this moment.. I was in my early 20’s.. I am now 50.

Being at the warfield shows was like being in Jerry's living room. The ushers were dead heads. Great food and drink and the weed.was plentiful. Best times of my life, period.

Best times in my life, seeing Garcia at The Warfield about 40 times. I felt like the luckiest guy in the world at those shows. So very grateful to everybody that was part of it. Beautifully, I’ve been having another magnificent time with my man, Billy Strings. Jerry would’ve have adored him. Garcia is the real GOAT, though.

I’m not a Grateful Dead fan. I like a very few songs. I’m not nuts about Bob Weir. I like some of the extended guitar solos like on Dear Prudence l. But I’ve always LOVED JG’s voice; so tender, so sensitive. And, Jerry is a “guitarist’s guitarist” (meaning he’s a master.) I’m new to JG’s band; I heard it on an all-night all-Dead radio show coming out of Cambridge MD. I miss JG,,a true master in a world of exaggerated exaltations. Boy is this a fantastic concert 🎵
