I am so happy I got to meet him a month before he passed away, as I had followed his music since the late sixties. For three hours he just played that guitar and made his signature groove out of any genre. A truly nice man and phenomenal talent.

Another gem posted on KZbin. Only wish that I lived near this place to have had a chance to see and thank Jerry for all the great music. RIP, Legend.

Remember Jerry in Santa Cruz playing at the Old Catalyst band called the Homewreckers and with Neil Young in The Ducks at a couple small cafe's around town. Jammed with him w my electric slide banjo and Dumble amp. He never used pedals and could get amazing sustain in big rooms....rip in heaven.

I remember him from the old catalyst too . Those were good times back then in the 70s.

terrible loss of a great musician who had a rabid, loving group of followers to the end. Play on Jerry. May Moby Grape live on forever
