I love this epidode with Jerry O'connell. It was so much fun. I love that you guys can relate to regular people like us. Being a parent is not easy. I think I am more like Jerry when it comes to parenting. But I know Howie's parenting may see wrong for some people. But they make some of the best parents in my perspective. My mom was like that. You only get to understand their motives are noble until you became a parent too. It is not right or wrong method, we all do what we can and think is right. And we also make mistakes as parents.We just want the best for our children.

I preface this by saying I am a fan of Jerry, Howie and Jackie, and the podcast, but the fact that these guys have coffee and chill 3-4 times a month, and they STILL have such an AWKWARD time of this podcast, holy shit! I feel bad for Jerry; he gets cut off a few times, all the MJ associations, his "shawties" thing coulda gone better, and being interrupted TWICE by calls on the hosts' phones! I'm happy they are friends and will laugh this off cuz, whoa, there were some rough patches in this one. On the upside, I learned a good deal about Jerry, of whom I've been a fan since I was a kid. I saw Stand By Me, several years after it came out, and the rapport between the cast and the "heavy, yet normal, everyday" feel of the movie made an impression on me (story by Stephen King,...what? It's like Shawshank; his most popular and lucrative movie endeavors have been for his non-horror, brilliant swoops into drama and "real life" human condition stories). But it was a small Canadian show on CTV (back then was it CFCF12?) called My Secret Identity, which I absolutely loved, that first introduced me to Jerry and I've been a fan since! Yeah, kinda corny 80's stuff, but it was great! Take care all, thanks for the episode!

Cool. I genuinely just bought Joe's Apartment on Blu Ray just yesterday. What a coincidence! I have to say. It's so scary that I'm so old now. I used to watch so many shows Jerry was in when I was a kid. Even before Sliders. He was in that one where he kind of had super powers and could run so fast he melted his watch. And I remember when he showed up in some movie as the dumb frat guy, and he was not really getting roles anymore and I could tell that it was the end of an era where I wouldnt be really seeing him in stuff anymore. His appearance on Comedy Bang Bang (actually it may have been Comedy Death Ray still), with Cyber Thug, was very funny. That might be the last thing I heard him do, and that was over a decade ago now. I think that was 2010. I know hes around, but its just unfortunate he hasnt really done much I have watched, but at least he still seems happy. Thats good. Cool to see him.
