Wow! Just found this on line. I studied guitar with Ronnie in Boston. He used to call me and borrow my amp. When the blues musicians would show up in town from Chicago.

I was at this show. I'd seen Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters previously had seen Roomful of Blues several times. It wasn't Jerry Portnoy top billing it was Ronnie Earl and the .... A harp player doesn't ever get top billing over Ronnie Earl. Daryl Nulloms the lead singer probably would get the top billing next. Maybe Portnoy is a god in the northeast and Providence RI. Earl and Portnoy did make a ultra COOL 😎 entrance from the street in Dupont Circle just before the show though.
