I worked in the Time Life building in 1976-77, just a few feet away from Jerry's. I ate there 2-3 times a week. My favorite order, Corned beef on rye wit mustard. Boy I loved that place!

To all those close to Jerry please know that Jerry was loved. He was a great man, a genius. I miss him to this day.

Loved this place. We made our own film here in the very early 70s when we were students at Columbia College. Many a corned beef sandwich eaten from here as well. A true one-of-a-kind. Gone but not forgotten.

Wonderful! I went to this deli once, and have tried to describe the experience to my wife and son but it always sounds like I am making it up. Now I can tell them to watch this film.
