Same. There's 3 players who I feel like their deaths would devastate us on this level: MJ, LeBron, and Kobe. Kobe was that much of a global icon, he took the banner from MJ in the early '00s and ran with it, it's just such a tragedy.

That was like his son, he saw him grow he saw him turned into a man a father an idol, everything, this is painful and this is the worst tragedy in sports history. Kobe is a type of iconic figure who was suppose to have like this godly aura this invincible force field that he wasnt going to die like this specially not with his daughter being there with him.

I'm a spurs fan and I "hated" Kobe back in the day when I was younger...when he would get the better of The Spurs in many years.. He was LITERALLY unstoppable when he was on his game! I realize that in general, most of us as fans don't truly hate opposing players...,it's more of a "play/pretend hate" and within there deep down contains of a LOT of respect and even love. . I shed tears nearly instantly when I heard the news because suddenly all of those Legendary moments and battles with my San Antonio Spurs and Kobes Lakers flashed in my brain and it's there that I TRULY 1000% realized that I never really had even ONE ounce of real hate for that man...that Legend who had that the true " Heart of a Champion" that's rarely seen today.. Kobe Bean Bryant, thanks SO much for the memories, for the passion and for all of the EPIC battles you've blessed me to witness and behold.. Held many L's thanks to you man! 😂😂😂😂😂 Love you man.., I'll see you on the other side one day my friend! ✨ 💜☄💛☄💜☄💛☄💜✨

This man has truly touched people from around the world. His smile, energy, love for the game, the love he showed to his team mates and the men that helped guide him in his accomplishments, the way he helped inspire kids that look up to him, loving husband and father, inspired and helped his daughter to be a good ball player etc, etc, He just seemed to radiate with such a positive energy. When he was excited and happy, he'd get that big beautiful smile. That's something you can never forget about him. It will forever be etched in people's memory.

They never concentrate on all the good that Americans do every day. I'm not from the USA, however, I can say that this world is a better place because of the values that most of you uphold.
