I lived in NYC, and from what I heard from the EXPERIENCED delivery people. Since they know where are the hot spots and such, they can make a high of $400 a day for the particular days of the week they carefully select. They usually joined at least two delivery apps and on average made about $4000 a month about working 5 - 6(the most) days per week during normal conditions.

Actually, from the words of the deliverers, the better they dress the more likely they get CASH tips. Basically, only Chinese deliverers do not care too much about the outfit but many other South Asian deliverers wear brand names for the job.
Sorry, I can’t stop laughing because you are so funny. And happy new year. 🎊

@@jerrykowal1007 emm, she probably thought funny = interesting. it's a translation problem, funny and interesting can both translated into 有趣的, but most of english teacher in china won't tell funny is not a good word to describe a people. When I first time travelled to aother country, I noticed lots of my previous learning is completely incorrect.

Jerry is also doing DOORDASH?)) I used to do Postmates back in 2018-2019 before going back to teach in Harbin & Shenyang China 🇨🇳! I understand exactly how hard it was especially in Long Beach & Hacienda Heights, California! Props & Kudos to you Jerry! I’ve also encountered so many cheapskates who NEVER TIPPED OR JUST A PENNY(( hate those losers.
看那雪,还得走在雪地里。 真勤劳和热情。我就呆在家不愿意出去了。不过我不会点外卖,而是在努力地dehydrate vegetable and fruits, 为以后的meal做preparation. Recently I got a dehydrator, and I am crazy about preparing survival food or just healthy snack etc. There is potential to have food shortage and food inflation. Anyway, dehydrating makes sense.
Jerry, 35 years ago, 我 送外卖 for Chinese restaurants in New York city in summer. It was very hard work and dangerous as well. Many of us were hit by cars and robbery. I was moved to see you doing this work in your show. Thank you for your show!!!

Happy Chinese New Year to Jerry!

Jerry is right. Being homeless and not working when you are capable to work is a liability of the society, no one should feel sorry to those.
