SAME!!!!!! I was raised in Germany, went to the U.S. and had to watch women, listen to them, ask questions to understand how words were used and how to have the behavior of people that are native. I learned that it is amazing and so much fun to enjoy interactions with people that hear you speaking in their accent and using their language appropriately, and get a pat on the back by them smiling or getting along so well. It's wonderful to experience different people in a completely different world, where you feel like you belong. America is a beautiful and amazing country and since I have been here, I have been so blessed to meet the amazing people I have met and to have made really great friends who truly show such care and humanity towards me. I speak other languages, and every community is so accepting and willing to help you improve your language skills here. I'm so thankful for all of these great people and the happiness I have for meeting them. Everyone explains that America is a melting pot, but I honestly and deeply believe it is a delicious stew of every ingredient of a people, enough to fill you with understanding and hope. This was a really fun KZbin video to watch and relate to. Thank you, Sherri and everyone involved with making my day so bright by watching this. Happiness is all around us, like glitter that isn't easy to eliminate.
