Picked up the car this morning, nice to drive but a bit thirsty, what we need is a well thought on everything you might want to do when driving it, IE all the tech behind the two screen and how to set it up properly to make the best of it.

@@BarnzTT I'm 74 so not interested in zooming about, the best we've seen so far is around 45 miles per gallon and most of that has been in Economy mode, so we've been conned into thinking this is a frugal car.

If you double click the lock button on the key fob, does the car stop looking for the signal? This would be handy for night time when not in use.

Hi Jerry, I went to MG today for my first month service and asked them about why my new mg3 doesn't have outside temperature. They don't know why, so I told them to update the tablet and they told me that its up to date already. I told them I will ring MG head office in Sydney on Monday morning to find out why. Your review on the new MG3 that shows the temperature is in this video (NEW MG3 User Guide - 1. Central Locking & Key Controls - Detailed Walkthrough Tutorial) and my mg3 is the same car. No one seems to know why, I will let you know when I can find out... Thank Jerry.... Jeff..

So your video was the Hybrid Essence and not the petrol essence is that right and the petrol essence doesn't have outside temperature. If that's the case why didn't they know that.....

When the vehicle is 'locked' if you press the lock button on the key fob at any time when approaching the car it will sound the alarm and the indicator lights flash. perhaps a useful feature if you see any undesirables lurking around the vehicle? Clicking the unlock button stops the alarm and unlocks the car of course.

Hi, i locked all the doors using the lock button near driver seat. Without unlocking the car,, passengers are able to open the car from inside. Does it mean we cannot control opening the car from inside even if driver locks the door using central lock button. Pls advise.

Switch on child lock if you don’t want them opening from inside
