This Not A Wheelchair movement you started 6 years ago is the greatest expression of love in in its purest form I’ve ever seen. You took a real life issue that you saw your wife dealing with and made a solution for it. Not only helping her but helping millions around the world in the mean time. I’ve been following you since before the first gen version. I can’t wait to see what comes next from all of this.

That has come very very long way in a remarkably short timespan, especially given the somewhat limited resources and funding. An achievement Multibillion dollar corporations are still incapable of, even over a timespan of decades. Perhaps this is something here they learn. Provided greedy corporates and CEOs don’t interfere with quality of workmanship to line their pockets.

@@catbertz Extra useful that it goes in front or behind the vehicle, because accessible parking spaces nearly always go nose-in to accommodate vans with ramps. These selfless actions not only uplift those directly involved but also inspire and strengthen the entire fabric of society. For people like my Mom, who could not control her own vehicle due to ALS, I would love to see another iteration with 2 seats: one seat in front for a caregiver "driver", one seat with 5 point safety harness for a passenger of any ability. Universal design is king.

It's a great product. Nothing against it. I believe it should have a seat bealt and also the foot-rests should be a bit curved (to help any disabled person sat on them be a bit more safe). If her foot gets displaced from the pedal, she'll have to stop and adjust it by hand. But if the pedal is a bit curved, it would help keep the foot in place. Also, the seatbelt would help keep a disabled person in place. Sorry if the suggestions don't make sense, but I believe that would help.

They said this is intended for dirt roads and hiking paths. They're going so slow e.g. at 2:30 that I'd say it's completely safe. Some of his wife's maneuvers are quite scary though, but I'm more worried of flipping over in that case. If flipped over, would being strapped in be better or worse?
@myopinion69420
@myopinion69420 2 ай бұрын
@@pdblouin yea, i think being strapped in would be worse as if it rolls over, you would go with it and probably snap your neck, if you're not strapped in, at least you have a chance of being separated from the big rig before it lands on top of you. same reason motorbikes don't have seatbelts. now if it had a roll cage, it would be a completely different scenario.

Great work, looks amazing! Some ideas for future iterations: - Phone holder (maybe on one of the control arms) for maps navigation or video recording etc - Replacable batteries - Foldable/removable arm rests - 360 degree swivel on chair - Charging ports for phones - Atachable cup holder - Attachable rear view mirror - Maybe an SOS alert system if the user gets trapped somewhere God forbid - Maybe a place to attach an umbrella to the seat in case it rains, snow, hails etc. Anyway, it looks great, wish you guys lots of success!

Hey I just have so much respect for you that you speak your beliefs knowing that some of the audience will stop watching as a result. It takes real character to do that.

i swear that it makes me happy to see you two happy, and as a man taking care of a woman, and seeing her happy, makes me happy, and i think it is the goal of every man, (at least must be cuz i know not every man is like that, there are some that have family values and others that doesn't, it goes for women as well, but it's okay it's not a case of right or wrong, it's just that humans are different, most important thing is compatibility) to make his woman happy, his children, his family also of course, you are doing the right thing 💪

As someone who used to do professional Tannus Armor installs on fat ebike tires (just like these), let me say: 1. The stuff works REALLY well, feels no different than riding on a regular tube, and protects against nearly anything. 2. Including the armor and installation labor on all four wheels at no additional cost is super generous. Getting that done at a reputable shop would be hundreds of dollars.
