Fingers should be against the rail the whole time to ensure a straight pull. With a gap you can easily pull more to one side than another which will ruin your shot every time

Did that.. kinda impossible not to. If you had one or even saw the video you would know that you cant really load it with it having a gap. The string is too tight and squeezes you fingers into the rail so no need to worry about a gap. With other crossbows with wider limbs yes.

Theres more vibration/kick with the tape, it might be a bit louder and thats about it. And yep it was just tape

Seeing that this video is two years old it’s probably too late but all these mods you’re talking about will have ruined this thing completely. The draw weight is not adjustable on this bow. Also you’re not hitting anything accurately without a scope. That’s tv fiction bruh

Please look at my latest videos. I moded the FUK out of it and it works fine. I know all about this crossbow, i disassemble them and assemble it all the time. Everyone sends me these to fix, time, or replace broken parts. Still hunt turkeys without a scope too.

You must no nothing about CROSSBOWS Not Bows this guy has been shooting crossbows since he was like 9 he has learned everything about them he knows how to modify them he modified mine and many others and everyone loves it mine has been modified for 2 years now and nothing dangerous has happened and I shoot without a scope and I have killed 4 squirrel and a groundhog do me a favor Don't start telling this guy what he doesn't no cause he knows it all have a wonderful day
