Seems like the show producers think that simply reading donation messages and throwing one 'strike counter' is enough to carry the stream and keep it engaging. Compare that to what TJ does with the Yak. He changes scenes, he brings up content, clips side by side with the livestream. Sure TJ is a veteran and it's a totally different show but he didn't get there by just turning on the stream and reading chat to the hosts all day... Get creative. It's also 2024 and there's plenty of plugins and tech to actually have the chat vote on stuff, whether it be simple polls or having animations when certain thresholds are hit (viewer count, subs, or for example when enough people say something like 'W Jerry' there's an animation on screen). Just ask people at Barstool or from your community how to improve the stream using OBS tricks. Can pull from KZbin, Rumble, etc for data to drive these stream overlays.
