I think he's fantastic. Love that he combines a punk attitude with a more traditional rock sound. Heaven Was Full has an amazing guitar solo, as do several of his other songs. I may not agree with him on everything but that doesn't matter. I definitely admire him & can't wait to see everything he accomplishes in the years to come... He's totally right about the crabs in the bucket thing.

I took my 10 year old daughter to her first concert to see TX2, We Came As Romans and In This Moment. TX2 did a great job, they had a fun set and my daughter and I had a blast. We were front row for TX2. We spoke with their bassist and guitarist they were so nice, they spoke to my daughter and she was so happy. She still says it was the best night of her life!

The thing with the emo community and their love for hating, I think it’s because they don’t want their community being colonized by outside groups, ESPECIALLY TAYLOR SWIFT FANS, so when they feel that someone might be an outsider, they want them out. It sounds racist, but it makes sense when you realize that the group is fighting to stay alive, and is afraid of being drowned out by more popular groups invading their space.

I've been a fan of TX2 since his album 99 proof, and to see the fan base grow is amazing! I don't think he deserves all the hate he gets, but hating on an artist is something people will always do. I think it’s less about if he’s serious or not, and more about the fact that there has been a pattern of fetishization of goths in the past. even if it’s a joke, it very much plays into those patterns, and that’s why people found it offensive or problematic. it spreads the wrong impressions.

People seriously don't get that he's mocking the hateful stereotypes of emos. A lot of the people who hate him seem like people who weren't constantly told to kys and cut themselves for being emo by bullies in school. I like some of TX2’s songs but I think what keeps me on the fence is that I wasn’t sure if he was for real or just a parody but that was only because I first found his TikTok and found a lot of it really funny. Secondly like he said in the interview, he leans into the hate but it’s almost to his detriment. He has a tendency to be too rage baity online. I’ll never try to speak for an entire scene or a band/artist especially if they’re dead but his Linkin Park cover was genuinely bad and I would like to see him get better as an artist but he if he just continues egging on haters with possibly intentionally divisive songs or promotion his career could plateau
