Yoona- Too soft. Yuri - Too throaty. Sooyoung - Too blcoky. Hyoyeon - Lack articulation. Tiffany - Lacks technique. Seohyun - Can't reach that high. But because she has great technique, it sounds pleasantly decent. Taeyeon - Too powerful. Too strong. Parts that needs a decrescendo (softer parts) she can't do well. And so it loses it's original magic. Sunny - Too much vibrato. The closest to me would be Taeyeon, Sunny & Seohyun. *But this just proves Jessica's voice is so prominent in SNSD's songs. i would say yuri sound nasally, tiffany got technique, but totally different with jess style... taeyeon got almost same power same strength with jess, except jess got higher tone voice and thinner sound, while taeyeons voice is fuller and lower tone... but from the clip yuri suprise me the most in mr taxi(its yuri not sooyoung singing jess part) yuri change the vibe of that particular part, for me that part suit her more edit: for mr taxi part its sooyoung not yuri, my mistake..

I feel like Seohyun does a great job but then again she can’t reach the high notes as her timbre is the most neutral but when doing Jessica high notes she adds a bit of a husk in the notes. Sunny suits as well but I find Sunny having too much vibratos like you said but also Sunny doesn’t have the Clear(?} in Her voice. Yoona and Sooyoung does well but Yoona is too airy/soft and lacks technique while Sooyoung just doesn’t have the clear(?} in her voice and lacks dynamics in showing herself off, she does a great job covering tho. Taeyeon is very similar to Jessica but she lacks the higher range. I find Taeyeon voice a bit deep for covering Jessica parts but she does a great job. Hyoyeon is just too Husky and stylistic. So overall I would put it best 1. Taeyeon 2.Sunny 3.Seohyun 4. Tiffany 5.Sooyoung 6.Yoona 7.Yuri 8.Hyoyeon 5-7 is hard. Yuri cover her lines quite well like in Blue Jeans,ITNW,Mr Mr There are sometimes she’s too heady(Kissing You) Yoona does a great job but she lacks power like in IGAB Sooyoung does a great job but lacks Dynamics such as Vibrato and agility. So i say 5-7 is interchangeable. Maybe (4-7)

Yeah Sica's voice is unique and she can hit high notes really well but I think Soshi managed to cover her parts well except for some of Fany's high notes. Yeah it doesn't sound the same cause we're used to hearing Sica's voice. Every member has a different vocal colour so maybe it's not as perfect as Jessica's but they did well enough in my humble opinion. Hope to see Sica release a solo album soon. I miss her voice. And people .. pls stop comparing Snsd and Jessica .. cause I don't think it's right. Things happened but still she was part of the group and in fans hearts she still is .. Let's stay united and support both sides. Jessica started as a Snsd member and built her confidence and developed her talent. Who knows if she would've become a singer if SM didn'y cast her .. who knows how her life would've turned out. The same goes for the other memers too. Stop making up stories how now Snsd is trash cause Sica is not there or how Sica is nothing now that she's not in SNSD. It's ugly .. and painful. SNSD is what it is because of every single member efforts. It's a group , a team .. not solo. So the fact Sica is not there anymore is painful .. but no that won't end SNSD as long as there are fans supporting them and as long as SNSD have passion for music. So I think Jessica will gain a lot of new things as a solo artist , see new things .. experience them from a diff point of view. SNSD will also grow up even more and develop as people and artists. its not like they had a choice, we dont know the story yet but recently koreaboo posted about why jessica was "kicked out" that might have been somewhat accurate. so what they say happened was that jessica was planning on going on hiatus and then leaving the group, SM agreed and and in the tokyo dome concert that would be like jessica's goodbye concert thats why they recorded divine and cmiyc to be released at the concert but jessica then said "lol jk i dont want to leave now" but everything was already planned and they considered jessica wasnt taking the group seriously so SM didnt let her back in the group. this might not be true but it makes sense

Jessica's parts are perfect for her voice. No one can replace that she has that unique soft, angelic, pure, innocent voice that draws you in once you hear it you can never get enough. Not many of the members have that kind of charisma. They are all great in their own way but Jessica's parts are especially meant for her. No other can change that fact. While, Tiffany's a great singer her voice just doesn't relate to Jessica's if you pay attention closely it sounds like she's shouting/screaming/struggling when she goes to those high notes. While, Jessica cruises through it smoothly. Yoona has similar voice to her but she can't really do that high notes. Taeyon's voice is like the opposite of Jessica's it's too strong, too rough which can easily reach those high notes well but the toughness just isn't doing it.The others are good too but it's never going to be the same.

Tbh when a member of a certain group left, there's literally no one can replace the left member's position. I personally find it kinda weird hearing other soshi member's voice replacing sica's even tho its taeyeon the main vocal. BUT the only good thing is I can hear the dancers line's voice more now especially yoona's :)
